Trends in jewellery for 2018, which is your pick?
- Handmade. Jewellery made by hand is not the new trend of the moment, because it never stopped being fashionable. Though, it is true that it has had eras in which it may have excelled more than others, however its value and acceptance have been highly valued throughout the years.
- Originality. Unique jewels, with daring and original designs will have absolute reign. The more original the pieces, the better. This trend isn´t difficult to follow if it is artisanal jewellery, as is the case at Ramon, where pieces are manufactured one by one and not in mass production as often happen with other brands. Hence the exclusivity of these of pieces.
- Nature. The influence of nature on jewellery designs will gain strength next season. Butterflies, different types of animals and floral motifs will be seen and will become the central focus of handmade jewellery. At Ramon we have been slight pioneers in this sense, since we have two collections that pay tribute to this trend: the Leopards collection and the Butterfly collection.
- Jewellery XL. Large jewellery will acquire greater following. This is not to say that minimal jewellery moves to the background. But pieces with big charms or bulky rings will amass more attention in the spotlight.
